Terms of service

OET Prep ("we", "us") is a study platform operated by Bkdin App, registered in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service is intended for healthcare professionals aged 16 or older preparing for the Occupational English Test. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

OET Prep provides practice material, automated scoring, AI tutoring, and progress tracking for the four OET sub-tests (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking). Content is original; clinical material is fictional and is for practice only.

• No clinical advice. Nothing in the service constitutes clinical advice. Practice scenarios are fictional. Do not use any content here to make real patient-care decisions.
• No guarantee of exam outcome. AI-predicted scores are directional indicators only. We do not guarantee you will achieve any particular OET grade. Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment is the only authority for real OET scores.
• No affiliation with OET. OET Prep is an independent preparation service. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment, the operators of the Occupational English Test.
• No medical or legal advice. The AI tutor is a study aid. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, or clinical decisions.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity taken under your account. Notify us promptly at admin@bkdin.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the original content on this site
• Share your account with other people
• Use the AI tutor to generate content for re-sale or commercial use elsewhere
• Attempt to attack, probe, or otherwise impair the service or our infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, with prior warning where reasonable.

Subscription plans and one-off credit packs are billed in advance through Stripe. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partially-used periods except where required by law.

Credit packs are non-refundable once issued, but credits do not expire unless specified at purchase.

Prices are shown in your region's currency on the pricing page. Changes to pricing take effect at your next renewal; existing periods are honoured at the price you paid.

We own the rights to the practice content (test materials, drills, model answers). You retain ownership of the answers, letters, and transcripts you produce. By using the service you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process your content for the purpose of providing the service (e.g. sending it to the AI scorer).

Quotes from your written feedback may be used anonymously in service improvement; named testimonials require your explicit consent.

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update content, or change features at any time. Where we make a material reduction in functionality of a paid plan, we will offer a pro-rata credit or refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, where the law does not allow such limitation.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
